Exploring the Radio Spectrum – Wireless Technologies & SDR

I developed an interest in wireless signals and the radio spectrum while managing a complex network infrastructure during a joint effort to welcome Afghan refugees to America. Overseeing multiple technologies—including fiber, Starlink, and satellite broadcasting systems—across a large base and within confined workspaces presented challenges with Wi-Fi congestion from overlapping, immovable access points. To ensure maximum uptime and reliable connectivity, I had to identify and mitigate conflicting signals, optimizing the wireless environment for seamless operation.
